Why everyone keeps coming back.

Dave’s Hot Chicken in Ashwaubenon, WI, is a flavorful haven for lovers of boldly spiced, perfectly cooked chicken. Specializing in a tantalizing array of chicken dishes that expertly marry heat and taste, this vibrant restaurant invites you to dive into a world where spice levels range from mild to the fiery Reaper, offering a carefully crafted experience for every palate.

The menu at Dave’s Hot Chicken is a celebration of crispy, juicy chicken made irresistible through fresh, quality ingredients and their signature Dave’s sauce. Popular choices include “Dave’s Meals,” such as the iconic Dave’s #1 featuring two golden tenders served with crinkle-cut fries, pickles, sliced bread, and that unmistakable Dave's sauce—a flavor-packed companion that enhances every bite. If sliders are more your style, Dave’s #2 pairs two tender sliders brushed with kale slaw and drizzled in the same addictive sauce, served alongside crispy fries. The #3 combo cleverly lets you enjoy the best of both worlds with one tender and one slider.

For those seeking a little adventurous snacking, the “Saucy Bites” section offers mouthwatering options like the Hot Box—a generous 40-piece portion of boneless chicken bites tossed in your choice of sauce—and sampler flights that let you explore a spectrum of flavors from sweet to smoky and perfectly savory. Veggie lovers need not feel left out, thanks to the inventive “Dave's NOT Chicken (Cauli)™" selections, featuring crispy cauliflower tenders and sliders that mirror the deliciousness of their chicken counterparts without sacrificing on flavor or texture.

The restaurant’s atmosphere complements the food beautifully—decked out with street art and neon accents, Dave’s Hot Chicken projects a lively, laidback vibe that’s both welcoming and fun. Customers like Eric Boesen have noted the cool environment paired with friendly staff, making it an excellent spot for casual dining with friends or family. The energy here pulses through with every order, from the bustling kitchen to the bright interior buzzing with good times.

Heat aficionados rave about the perfectly calibrated spice levels. As Maverick Rushton shared, while the fiery Reaper spice might be overwhelming even for the bravest, the “Hot” spice hits the sweet spot, delivering a satisfying balance of zing and flavor that keeps you coming back. Brian Miller’s enthusiasm for the “Medium to Hot” range perfectly captures the joy of this nuanced seasoning—it brings the chicken to life without overpowering it. Even those who prefer no spice can savor rich flavor and texture, as noted by Jim Klein, which speaks to the kitchen’s dedication to crafting delicious chicken for all taste preferences.

Beyond flavor, Dave’s Hot Chicken shines in the quality of its crisply fried chicken and crave-worthy sides. The fries are a surprising highlight, praised for their perfectly cooked, golden crispness, which adds that unbeatable textural contrast to each bite. The menu also features intriguing dishes like Spicy Buffalo Mac & Cheese, adding a comforting, creamy indulgence with a spicy kick that seasoned diners like Rick Post thoroughly enjoyed.

In essence, Dave’s Hot Chicken delivers an electrifying dining experience that awakens your taste buds with every tender, every bite, and every dash of sauce. It’s a destination for those who crave heat, flavor, and fun all wrapped up in a welcoming environment that never compromises on quality or character. Whether you're a spice lover or someone seeking hearty, flavorful comfort food, Dave’s Hot Chicken in Ashwaubenon promises to leave you satisfied and eager for your next visit.

The first time I ate here, I decided to get the Reaper spice level chicken sandwiches. MISTAKES have been made. I usually love spicy food, but man that was intense. Now I just go for the good ole regular Hot spiciness. Imo, Hot is the perfect balance for the heat factor while still maintaining great flavor. The fries. I normally don’t like crinkle cut fries, but the way DHC always serves theirs hot, crispy, and perfectly seasoned, I simply cannot pass these up. Hands down, the best crinkle cut fries Ive had in a while. Now they serve loaded fries as an option, like what!? I can’t wait to try these bad boys. I’m glad they sell shakes here. Definitely need it when your mouth is on fire. Their Kale slaw is a great complement and refresher for your taste buds. If you dine in, take advantage of their fountain drinks that’s on par with that crispness level of carbonation McDonalds are well known for. 10/10 food and service Would recommend to a friend.

Cool restaurant with a great atmosphere and a fun, laid-back vibe. The chicken was really good—moist, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. I ordered it hot and the spice level was solid. I was expecting more of a sauce than a rub, but it still delivered great flavor and didn’t disappoint. The staff was friendly and welcoming. It did take a little longer than expected to get our food, but it seems everything is made to order, which I’m totally fine with. Overall, a great spot with good food and a cool energy that’s worth checking out.

Went with the #3. Medium spice on the tender and hot on the sandwich. Anyone that can go above hot is a Rockstar. Love that med to hot spice level here for the flavor with heat. The spicy BBQ bites are amazing as well.

This place has been on my radar for a while. Finally got the chance to go for it. And the verdict? It’s a vibe in here and the chicken slaps. It’s nice they have the option of no spice. It’s a nice sentiment as I was with my daughter. Good to know that just because it was no spice didn’t mean there was no flavor. I would not say it is bland. I personally got medium spice since that seemed like a good place to start this grand adventure. It was quite good. There was enough kick to make it feel worth it but it was also tempered enough I feel now I could go hotter. The seasoning on the fries was good, just wish there was a little more, or even just more evenly. Coke Products I’m ready to go back.

Unique dinning experience. Several types of chicken but no actual legs thighs etc... all nugget or strip type chicken. "Hot" comes in from no spice to Reaper (apparently there's a waiver for the Reaper level). I went with a medium heat Spicy Buffalo Mac & Cheese. I have to say it was pretty good and I could have gone a few levels hotter, but I did enjoy it. The restaurant is street art neon themed with a rather unusual selection of music from Steve Miller to Vegas crooner Dean Martin.

I got the #2 combo which was delicious. I tried both the medium and hot and they are both delicious. The Mac and cheese is also pretty good too. The staff there is super nice too. They always are helping out and cleaning up the restaurant when it’s slow.

Where do i begin, obviously all chicken is good, this was really good…the Sliders were excessively BIG…extra hot and hot sliders i had, great fries(plain jane but goood) but its just a new modern 2025 thing with Drake the rapper, street art for the inside looks of the walls and etc Lots of colorful sauces and rubs.. it is what it is…CHICKEN!! Everyone has a new thing aka A Shtick… glad Daves is in the industry

When I first walked in it seemed to be a fun. The walls had vibrant neon wallart. The food was good. You must sign a waver if you want any of the hot sauces. The music definitely doesn't match the vibe of the establishment. If you dine in, make sure you sit at a table that isn't wabably!
